The Kaimai Christmas tree farm was established in 2008 with the goal of providing stunning real Christmas trees for all to enjoy. Our lovely trees start from little seedlings and over the next 3 – 4 years we constantly prune them and look after them so that they grow into the nicely shaped, bushy trees that we all love.
Our farm is situated on Omanawa road, near the breathtaking Omanawa falls. Come and enjoy the sweeping view of the Bay of Plenty while taking your time to pick your favourite tree. There is plenty for the kids to see and do, hide and seek within rows of trees or they can visit our Donkeys, Goats and Chooks.
Our opening times 2020 season: the last 2 weekends in November – from 21st November, when you can select and tag your tree for collection closer to Christmas. Our trees range in price depending on their size.
When December arrives, we are open every day, Our weekend hours are 9 – 6pm and during the week we are open 12 til 6pm.
Our friendly staff will cut your tree for you and then wrap it in netting to make it easier to carry in and out of your car and house. This means less hassle and less mess for you. There is plenty of parking on the property and easy access for trailers. There is never any hurry to choose your tree. Enjoy a stroll – we have hundreds of trees to choose from. Everyone has different tastes and you want to make sure you get the perfect tree! Take time to see the donkeys. They love the attention!
